I’ve been revisiting one of our patterns today, the Pavo Real shawl:
Triangle shawls and shawlettes like the Pavo Real are really popular right now, and they’re definitely one of my favorite projects. I get a ton of wear from the ones I’ve made for myself, especially these smaller, one-skein size projects. A lot of folks like to wear them in the traditional manner, across the shoulders, but I really love to bundle up bandito style:
I’m going out of town this weekend and indulging in some (GASP!) personal project time, so I’ll be casting on for a Pavo Real in Luxe, just for me! It’s a skein of an odd duck pale blue that’s been in my stash since the summer, and now I know just what it wants to be. And with one skein on size 8 needles, this could conceivably be finished in the next couple of weeks! *fingers crossed*
