Thanks for your interest in KSD yarns and fibers! I dye everything in small batches (I call ‘em microbatches, like artisan microbrewed beers) in my backyard studio here in the Land of Kudzu, AKA Birmingham, Alabama.
All of my yarns are dyed & stored in a smoke-free and pet-free environment, but may pass through my pet-friendly home during parts of packing or processing. Animals are not allowed to touch the yarn & fibers, but if you are highly allergic, take proper precautions in ordering & handling my yarns.
I do my best to keep colors accurate when photographing my yarns & fibers, but due to variances in individual color monitors, what you see on your screen can vary a little bit.
I accept Credit card and e-check payments through Paypal. 9% sales tax applies to all AL sales. Birmingham locals, you may be able to set up a pick-up time around the metro area, if we can get our schedules together (I’m game if you are.). If so, I will refund your shipping charges.
I ship via USPS 2-3 times weekly. Your purchase will normally ship within 2 days of purchase/cleared payment. International purchases: If your shipping cost varies significantly from the e-cart shipping charges, I will either refund you for the overage or bill you for the difference in cost. Customs charges may vary from country to country; I mark all customs forms accurately, so it will be marked as a purchase and not a gift.
I’m always happy to gift wrap ( I actually LOVE wrapping gifts, so lay it on me!). If you need your purchase shipped to the recipient’s address, contact me and I’ll send billing paperwork separately.
